Kate, is a postpartum doula, cook and mum of two based in Hobart, Tasmania.
Kate works with all parents: traditional birth, solo, same sex, and adoptive.
Kate's journey supporting women started after having her first baby; She researched, read all the books, attended the classes and delivered my perfect little baby. She felt empowered, educated and supported during her pregnancy and birth but didn’t put much thought into the months after having a baby.
After several months of living a 'I can do it all' pace, the adrenalin wore off, postnatal depletion set in and she realised recovering from pregnancy, birth and caring for little people needs a completely different approach.
Since then she has spent the better part of the last four years learning about postpartum, how other cultures honour this time, what are the non-negotiables to thrive. Kate is passionate about breastfeeding support and naturopathy and how these can be intergrated into a mother's Fourth Trimester care.
Kate is a graduate of the Newborn Mothers Collective and Doula Network of Australia member.
"Evidence led, our weekly visits helped us navigate the early weeks of becoming parents. The food was healthy and nourishing, and was generous enough to cover two dinners and lunch!"

"I’m so glad I took the leap and booked 10 sessions with Fill Your Cup! I’ve always found it difficult to ask/seek out help for myself but for some reason this felt like a safe place to start. They helped remind me that my self care should be a priority at such a busy time for our family, and for this I am very grateful"
