After a rough first postpartum experience during the lockdowns, my husband and I knew we had to do things differently this time around. Enter Renee and Fill Your Cup… this service is absolutely seamless and everyone commented on how chill I was this time around 😅 it is all because of FYC!

Renee has a wonderful nourishing menu of snacks and what I call “bowl foods” (a warm hearty meal packed with nutrition) and a roster of caring and highly skilled doulas who come into your home during the chaos of newborn life to bring a sense of calm and support. You are matched with a few doulas who also bring other skills like massage, support with breastfeeding, etc.

What is so special is that it is like having a big sister to look after you while you look after the baby. It’s so much more than the practical support - it’s having a kind ear, a shoulder for support, and a steady hand to bring some order to the havoc that is postpartum life.

I’m so glad that we went down the path of finding a postpartum doula. It has introduced a whole new world of thinking about motherhood that I would’ve struggled to discover without FYC. It’s more than just the food and having someone come to do whatever housework needs to be done - it’s the knowing that there is a whole science to what I am experiencing and it’s been a wholly validating experience. I’m so glad that FYC exists for me and other families out there.

Not having immediate family living in the same state we decided to get the assistance of a Doula.
